Content Summary
Buddhism originated in India, but then encountered dharma disasters and was entirely exterminated there.  The Buddhism in modern India is the result of many other countries’ monks’ tireless efforts of giving back since 19th century (1).
Buddhism entered China, and was subsequently transmitted into Korea and Japan.  After going through persecution in four dynasties under four emperors, even though it wasn’t entirely extinct, most holy sutras and scriptures were greatly damaged.  When great traditional Buddhist schools, such as Tien-Tai School, Yien Sho School, and Vijnanavada School weakened and declined, Buddhists from Korea and Japan returned many Buddhist scriptures back to China, to ensure each Buddhist school continued to pass on their teachings.  Hence, the Korean’s and Japanese’s kind act of giving back to China contained great benignity.  (2)
Buddhism is the rare spiritual treasure of human culture.  Hence, Buddhism’s development needs the ability to prophesize the future.  When Buddhism can bring purity, happiness, peace, and harmony to sentient beings, and “fully practice “ “Buddhism in Mortal World” (3), then Buddhism will be able to continue to pass on, and dharma will flow endlessly.  Today, Chinese Han Transmission Tantrayana Buddhism – Holy Tantra Jin-Gang-Dhyana Buddhism follows the holy ancestral masters’ Holy Tantra shou-ji (4) “to liberate from all misery” as our mission, to practice the ideal of Buddhism in mortal world, in order to greatly disseminate Buddhism.
Key Terms:
Giving back, Holy Tantra shou-ji, Buddhism in mortal world
